My Final Practical

 Hello again guys

I've been absent for some time now but I'm back and ready to post some new creations and recipes.

In February I had my final practical in which I did the same Rolled Marshmallow Fondant that I posted before you can check out the post here https://kitchenfitforaprince.blogspot.com/2021/01/how-to-make-rolled-marshmallow-fondant.html but the only difference is that I finally got the outcome I wanted this time around as it relates to presentation cause lets face it my first attempt wasn't all that good.

But this time around I was more than happy with this achievement.

My examiner said that the pink marshmallow was a good choice instead of the white because it brought something different to the table and the decorations weren't over crowding but a few touch ups were needed at the bottom.

She also said that the colour and the texture of the fruit cake was just right and that statement did indeed put a smile on my face.

Along with the decoration of the fruit cake I was suppose to do a Banana foster cheesecake and a Black forest cake but because of unforseen events that was not possible.

I want to thank Giovanni Edwards for helping me with the decoration of my table and helping me design the placement cards, banner and overall presentation area. I couldn't have done it without you. Big up Gio!!

And I also want to thank Mrs. Gillian White for her patience towards me throughout the course I appreciated it alot.

From doing a surgery and missing out on a couple practicals and coming back wasn't easy and I missed out on alot of things i even felt like giving up but in the end it was worth it because I got a B+ so thank God for that.

I also want to thank my mother and my church family and friends for helping me throughout everything that I've been through in the pass few months from giving me the ingredients, equipments and tools needed to complete this course to just your encouragement and prayer thank you.

Last semester was very interesting learning new recipes and being able to try them out on my own it was a new and life changing experience and it's one that I will take throughout life.

Here are the photos...

I'll be posting again soon so until then folks.
